Morris & Co. Kelmscott Rush Indoor / Outdoor Bench
Constructed with hand-carved teak, synthetic twisted hyacinth and brass-capped hardware, the Kelmscott bench receives influence from Kelmscott Manor- Arts & Crafts textile designer William Morris's idyllic countryside home in Oxfordshire England- and is a contemporary reenvision of Morris & Co.'s most recognizable design created in the late 19th century, the Rush Sussex Chair. Inspired from Morris's vision of furniture that strongly highlights form and craftsmanship, this piece will bring enduring charm to the room. Pairs perfectly with the Auberon farmhouse table and chairs. Can be used in both indoor and outdoor spaces.
Details
- material: Teak, brass, synthetic twisted hyacinth
- Teak wood naturally contains water-repellant oils and resins, making it well-suited to outdoor designs. Teak frames offer strength and durability in the elements—either occasionally treated to hold their warmth or left unsealed for a beautiful gray patina. Lightly sanding the wood can restore the natural tone. Teak furniture should be covered or stored indoors during inclement weather or when not in use.
- Safe For Indoor / Outdoor Use
