In her modernist Silver Lake home overlooking LA, Este has carved out a space to enjoy that harmony.

While the living room invites connection, Este's bedroom is designed as a pure retreat. The walls are painted in tonal pinks, enveloping the space in warmth—she lovingly refers to it as the womb. Here, the stark modernity of the architecture gives way to a more timeless embrace.

Traditional silhouettes and vintage-inspired pieces curated from our selection soften the mix, while layered bedding in complementary hues enhances the cocoon-like feel. "I travel so much that when I'm home, I want to feel grounded," Este shares. "This room does that for me. It's like a hug."

It took seven years to find her blank slate, but she knew she found it the moment she walked in. "It felt like a big white box. It was like the world was at my fingertips—I could make it anything I wanted." Step into her living room and it's immediately clear that serenity was the guiding principle. The space is airy and bright with high ceilings while the foundation is soft and neutral—textured rugs, cozy throws, and calming earth tones, soothing but social. A plush velvet sofa brings it together—"It’s big enough for all my friends to pile on, comfy enough to crash out on after a long day. And the color—it's perfect."
